Cleveland Flames Travel
The Cleveland Flames field competitive girls travel teams at the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels, competing in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League and NGHL against top programs across the country. Backed by Ohio Hockey Project's professional development staff, Flames teams train and play out of Winterhurst Ice Arena in Lakewood.
Ages

When
The travel season runs from late summer through winter, with league play and tournaments throughout the fall. Tryout and season dates are announced each spring — email info@cleflames.com for the latest information.
Where
Practices and home games are held primarily at Winterhurst Ice Arena in Lakewood, with additional ice at John M. Coyne Recreation Center in Brooklyn. Teams travel for league games and tournaments across the region.
Practices
Each team practices multiple times per week, supplemented by Ohio Hockey Project skills and goaltending sessions. Exact schedules vary by team and are shared by the coaching staff.
Games
Teams play a full league schedule in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League and NGHL, plus tournament play throughout the season. Most games fall on weekends, with home games in the Cleveland area and travel for league weekends and tournaments.
